SGSSoft uses various operating models to provide efficient services to its customers. SGSSoft chooses the right operating model based on client business goals and operating structure. A well defined operating model framework provides clear path to fulfill customer requirements. Our program management team helps the customer to select right operating model. They also help to define project systems to develop business applications or provide support services.

Fixed Price Project (FPP) Model

SGSSoft offers customers a Fixed Price Project (FPP) model when the application scope and specifications are clear and well defined. Under this model, we work with clients to define expected deliverables and timelines to determine a mutually agreed fixed price. This model is best suited for small projects or for large projects when the scope, schedules and requirements of the project are specifically defined. The total cost and timeline of the development is agreed prior to the start of the project. The project changes, whether its requirements or design changes would be addressed through Change Management process. Additional changes after the project start are estimated and quoted separately. As the projects specifications and deliverables are clearly defined prior to the project start, this model guarantees on-time, on-budget delivery of projects.

Time and Material Model

With this model, SGSSoft gives customers greater flexibility to alter the project specification on an ongoing basis based upon the need. SGSSoft charges the customer fixed hourly rate which was agreed in the contract. T&M model suits well for the application support and maintenance works.

Managed Service Model

SGSSoft, as a managed IT service provider will manage and takes responsibility of providing a defined set of services to our customers. The services are either defined by the customers or proactively identified by our team of experts. Our ITIL-certified staff is dedicated to helping you enhance the business value of your IT systems through improved operational efficiency and service levels. Under this model, the customer is charged fixed price for an agreed duration, and thus enables the customers to plan the IT support budget accurately.

Most of the companies are opting Managed Service model due to its flexibility and benefits it offers. Some of the key benefits for customers are:

  • Single point of contact for all issues.
  • Single supplier instead of multiple vendors.
  • Defined Service Level Agreements (SLA) (for service delivery).

Staff Augmentation Services

SGSSoft offers full or part time IT professionals to work along with the customer in their projects. In this model, our experienced personnel will work exclusively for you from our offices. We also depute our personnel at your office and they will be part of your project. The customer will have a direct access to the personnel assigned to the project. This model suits well when the customer do not want to hire full time personnel, but require additional staffs to work on their projects. The personnel allocated to the customer on FTE basis will be on our payroll.
